Denver, Colorado, June 28, 2014 — Shining Lotus Metaphysical Bookstore, a spiritual book and gift business and 17+ year cornerstone of the South Colorado Blvd retail corridor, was presented the 2014 COVR Retailer of the Year award. Shining Lotus has been owned since 2008 by Tim Johnson and Justin Swanstrom of Denver, and has been in operation since its opening in 1972 at 9511 East Colfax, moving to its current location in the late nineties.
In a festive banquet and awards ceremony Saturday night at the INATS (International New Age Trade Show) at the Denver Merchandise Mart, COVR Visionary Awards were given for outstanding individuals, companies and products in the Mind/Body/Spirit industry.
The Coalition of Visionary Resources (COVR), the trade association for the Mind/Body/Spirit industry supports the success of its members by providing education, hands-on advice, and targeted networking. INATS is the only trade show of its kind in this niche industry and is an annual four-day June event in Denver, Colorado.
